"self-represented litigant" or "pro se"

As a self-represented litigant, it is important that you stay in contact with the Court's trial assistant.
If a hearing is scheduled and you must appear. If there is a problem with the date, you must notify the trial assistant as soon as possible.
***Failure to appearing could result in either your case being dismissed or a judgment entered against you.
Its important to know that in order to preserve fairness and impartiality,
the Judge cannot talk to one side in a lawsuit without the other side being present.
